On your walk from the Airport to Timbers Resort you'll pass the SPIKEHORN LOUNGE and TIMBERS PIZZA (and Party Store) ! Stay and play here, you won't need a car -- just your plane ! Also you can have a bonfire at the Timbers Resort. Call ahead if you need wood (pre-delivered). Pilots call or e-mail ahead if you need pillow cases or sheets (normally not included but available for an extra charge, minor).
Comments.....	Welcome to Timbers Resort of Houghton Lake. We're your hosts Mark and Sherry Schafer. Timbers Resort has a beautiful, wooded park-like setting with nearly an acre of land shared by only two cottages. Rent one or both! Our Timbers Resort property is serene and peaceful yet big enough to host a larger party having a bonfire or picnic. There's plenty of your room for your boat. There IS lake access at Timbers Resort, we have a DOCK SPOT ON THE LAKE at the resort available for you to PICK UP OR DROP OFF YOUR BOAT PASSENGERS. The DNR Boat Launch is nearby. The dock is not for overnight mooring, as it is shared between these two cabins. Simply pull your boat out at the end of each day, the boat launch is VERY close by.
